FAQ

Questions merchants actually ask.

Does this work without WooCommerce?+

No. TryVue reads WooCommerce products, categories, variations and stock.

Do my shoppers' photos get stored?+

The photo is relayed for generation and is not retained after the result is produced. The browser never sends it to TryVue directly — it goes through your own site.

Where do the generated images live?+

Try-on results are served from TryVue for the shopper to download. AI Product Studio photos are different: the moment you approve one it is verified, re-encoded as an optimised JPEG and imported into your own WordPress media library, attached to the product. Your storefront never links to a temporary remote URL.

What happens when credits run out?+

Your storefront enters a warm “we'll be right back” state instead of showing errors, and nothing customer-facing ever mentions credits or billing. You get the honest version in wp-admin: snoozable warnings before the balance hits zero, a one-click top-up link and an “I topped up — check again” button. Service resumes within seconds.

Can the assistant recommend something I don't sell?+

No. It is grounded on a synced snapshot of your published catalog, and every product card is re-checked against live WooCommerce data before it is rendered. Drafts and unpublished products can never surface.

Does it work with a page cache?+

Yes. The try-on and assistant endpoints detect a stale security token from cached HTML and refresh it transparently.

Can I use my own AI key?+

Yes, on Growth and Scale. Connect your own fal.ai key and generations run on your account. The key is encrypted on our servers and is never stored in WordPress.

Can I move the plugin to another site?+

Yes. Deactivate it on the old site, or activate the new one with your account credentials or license key. Binding a key to a new domain requires a six-digit confirmation code emailed to the account owner.

Is it white-label?+

On Growth and Scale, yes — the “Powered by TryVue” mark is removed from the standalone page and the assistant. Generated images are unwatermarked on every plan, including Starter.

What's actually different between the plans?+

Starter is free forever: the full Virtual Try-On Studio with all niches, the standalone try-on page, unwatermarked 2K results and BYOK — no included test credits and help-docs-only support. Growth ($14.99) adds AI Product Studio, 4K output, the priority queue, scene prompts, white-label, customer credit selling, 20 test credits and support from our team. Scale ($29.99) adds the AI Shopping Assistant, 30 test credits, priority ticket handling and early access to new modules and models.

Do I need a developer?+

No. Install, click Connect your store, map your categories, and you are live.

Is there a live demo I can try?+

Not a public one — every generation costs real AI compute, so an open demo would be paid for by our other customers. Instead, each module has a full walkthrough on this site showing the exact flow end to end, and every plan includes test credits so your first generations are on your own store, with your own products.

Will the plugin keep getting updates?+

Yes. TryVue is actively developed: new AI models, new niches, WooCommerce compatibility releases and performance improvements ship regularly and are included in every plan.

Can I suggest a feature?+

Absolutely. We read every request. If an idea is useful for the wider merchant base, we design, build and ship it. Scale members get a direct line to the product team and early access to everything new.

Objection handling

The honest answers

Will it look fake?

Purpose-built prompt pipelines per niche, frontier image models selected per category, and you review every merchant-side photo before it is published.

Will it break my store?

The plugin renders nothing when it is not entitled, and shows a friendly card rather than an error when it cannot generate.

Will it cost me unpredictably?

Usage is metered in credits you buy in advance, with per-visitor and per-account daily caps you set yourself.

Do I have to migrate anything?

No. It reads the catalog you already have.
